Three published prices, and the ones that are missing

Flixaria's pricing page lists a month and a quarter but no half-year or annual rate. Why an incomplete grid is the detail worth noticing before you pay.

7 min read Reading timeUpdated September 2026
Key facts
  • Flixaria's pricing page publishes three figures: $14 for one month and $29 for three on one device, and $24 for one month on two
  • No six-month or annual price appears on the page, so the long-term rate has to be obtained by asking
  • Where the two overlap, Flixaria is competitive: $29 for three months against $36, and $24 for two devices against $26
  • Smartiflix publishes sixteen prices covering every combination of term and connection count
  • An unpublished renewal price is the single most common way a cheap first month becomes an expensive year

Most advice about IPTV pricing tells you to compare the numbers. This comparison is about the opposite: the numbers a provider chooses not to print, and why they are often the more informative part of a pricing page.

Flixaria publishes three prices. One device costs $14 for a month or $29 for three months; two devices cost $24 for a month. Alongside them sit the usual claims — 29,000 channels, 120,000 films and series, 99.9 per cent uptime, instant activation. What is not there is any price for six months, any price for a year, and any price for the three-device tier its own selector offers.

The published figures were read from Flixaria's pricing page on 31 August 2026, and they are competitive as far as they go. The argument here is about how far that is.

What Flixaria publishes, and what it is worth

Taking the three figures at face value, Flixaria prices well against us at the short end. Its single-device month matches ours exactly at $14. Its three-month plan at $29 undercuts our $36 by $7, a meaningful 19 per cent. Its two-device month at $24 comes in $2 below our $26.

That is a genuinely decent short-term offer, and if you only ever intend to buy a month at a time it is as good as anything in this comparison set. Nothing about the gaps in the grid makes the published prices worse than they are.

The difficulty arrives the moment you want to commit for longer, which is exactly when the money involved gets larger. There is no figure on the page for six months or twelve, so a buyer wanting an annual plan has no way to evaluate it before starting a conversation.

Why the missing annual price is the interesting one

An introductory price and a renewal price are two different products sold under one name. Almost every subscription business knows this, and the ones that publish both are making a choice to be checkable.

When the long-term price is absent, three things follow. You cannot compare the provider against competitors on the term you actually want. You cannot calculate whether a longer commitment saves anything real — our pricing analysis found that one common annual plan saves almost nothing over paying six months twice, which is only discoverable when the arithmetic is available. And you cannot know what happens at renewal until you are already a customer.

None of that means Flixaria's unpublished rate is unfavourable. It might be excellent. The point is narrower and, we think, harder to argue with: a price you cannot see is a price you cannot compare, and comparison is the only leverage a buyer has in an unregulated market.

There is a simple remedy, and it doubles as a test. Ask, in writing, what twelve months costs for the tier you want and what it will cost to renew. Keep the reply. A provider that answers clearly has closed the gap; one that deflects has answered a different and more useful question about how it does business.

The claims that fill the space instead

Where the long-term prices are absent, the page is generous with figures that cannot be checked: 29,000 channels, 120,000 titles, 99.9 per cent uptime, instant activation.

It is worth being specific about why that trade is a poor one for the reader. A channel count is unaudited, and across the twelve providers we surveyed the claims range from 20,000 to 61,000 with no published lists anywhere — two unrelated brands in the set even advertise exactly the same 61,000 figure. An uptime percentage with no monitoring source behind it is a sentence, not a measurement. Instant activation is real and checkable, but only after payment.

A single missing annual price would have told you more than all four of those combined, because it is verifiable, comparable and directly relevant to what you are about to spend. That asymmetry — unverifiable claims foregrounded, verifiable ones absent — is the pattern our provider checklist is built to catch.

How to buy anything in this market with the gaps closed

This applies to Flixaria, to us, and to every provider in the category. Before paying, get four things pinned down — ideally in writing from support if they are not on the page.

  • The price of the term you want, for the exact number of simultaneous connections you need
  • The renewal price for that same plan, stated separately from the introductory price
  • Whether the connection limit counts devices installed or streams running at once — it is almost always the latter
  • Which payment methods are accepted, and whether the one you plan to use can be reversed

Where this leaves a short-term buyer

For a single month, Flixaria is a fair choice and its three-month plan at $29 is the better deal against our $36. If short commitments are how you intend to buy, the missing annual price never affects you and the published ones are competitive.

For anything longer, we would recommend Smartiflix on transparency grounds, and that is a narrower claim than it sounds — not that our service performs better, which neither of us can demonstrate to you in advance, but that all sixteen combinations of term and connection count are printed where you can compare them before paying. That is a property of the pricing page, and it is checkable in a way that channel counts and uptime percentages are not.

Whichever way you go, do not buy a long term at an unquoted price. Ask first, get it in writing, and treat the quality of the answer as part of what you are evaluating. Our grid is here, starting at $14 for a month.

Frequently asked questions

01How much does Flixaria cost per year?+

Its pricing page does not say. The published figures stop at three months, so an annual rate would have to be requested from support or discovered at renewal. That is the central point of this comparison — not that the hidden price is necessarily bad, but that you cannot compare what is not published.

02Is Flixaria cheaper than Smartiflix?+

On the terms both publish, it is slightly cheaper in two places and level in one. One month on one device is $14 at both. Three months is $29 against $36, and a two-device month is $24 against $26. Beyond three months there is no published Flixaria price to compare, so the honest answer stops there.

03Why does an unpublished renewal price matter?+

Because the introductory rate and the renewal rate are different products, and only one of them is advertised. A first month at $14 tells you nothing about month thirteen. When a provider publishes every term openly, the renewal is visible before you commit; when it does not, you are agreeing to a price that has not been quoted.

04How do I find out a provider's long-term price?+

Ask support directly and in writing, before paying, and keep the answer. A one-line question — what does a twelve-month plan cost for two connections, and what will it cost to renew — is also a useful test of responsiveness. A seller who will not put a renewal price in writing has told you something worth knowing.

05Does Flixaria offer more than two devices?+

Its pricing page shows selectors for one, two and three devices, but only prices some of those combinations. Three-device pricing is not published alongside the rest, which is the same gap in a different place. Confirm the exact tier and its price before paying rather than assuming the pattern continues.
