| What we checked | Flixaria | Smartiflix |
|---|---|---|
| 1 device, 1 month | $14 | $14 |
| 1 device, 3 months | $29 | $36 |
| 1 device, 6 months | $40 | $47 |
| 1 device, 1 year | $65 | $69 |
| 2 devices, 1 month | $24 | $26 |
| 4th connection | Not printed | Yes |
The printed year is $65. That undercuts Smartiflix at $69. Three months at $29 also beats $36.
Flixaria stops at three devices. The sixteen-price grid and a named-domain list are still here.
The short end is a wash at $14. Three months is $29 against $36. If you need a fourth stream, their page still does not have one. Ours does.
The grid that used to have holes

Taking the printed grid at face value, Flixaria prices well against us on one and two devices. Its single-device month matches ours exactly at $14. Its three-month plan at $29 undercuts our $36 by $7. Six months is $40 against $47. The year is $65 against $69. Its two-device month at $24 still comes in $2 below our $26.
That is a genuinely cheaper long term than we sell, and we would rather say so than invent a reason it does not count. If you only ever intend to buy a month at a time, $14 is a wash. If you intend to prepay a year on one screen, Flixaria's printed number is the lower one.
The remaining gap is connections, not terms. Flixaria stops at three devices. Smartiflix still prints a fourth. Households that actually run four streams at once will not find that tier on Flixaria's page.
What closing the gaps actually changed
An introductory price and a renewal price are still two different products sold under one name. The difference now is that Flixaria prints both ends of the range, so you can do the arithmetic before you pay.
Two six-month cards at $40 would cost $80. The printed year is $65, so the annual discount is real this time — $15, not a rounding error. Our pricing analysis exists because some annual plans save almost nothing over paying six months twice. Flixaria's year is not one of those.
The old lesson still applies to every other storefront that omits a term: a price you cannot see is a price you cannot compare. Flixaria is no longer in that set. Ask support in writing what month thirteen costs anyway, because a printed first year and a printed renewal are not always the same number.
The claims that fill the space instead
The page is still generous with figures that cannot be checked: 29,000 channels, 120,000 titles, 99.9 per cent uptime, instant activation.
A channel count is unaudited, and across the twelve providers we surveyed the claims range from 20,000 to 61,000 with no published lists anywhere — two unrelated brands in the set even advertise exactly the same 61,000 figure. An uptime percentage with no monitoring source behind it is a sentence, not a measurement. Instant activation is real and checkable, but only after payment.
The useful change is that those claims no longer have to stand in for a missing year. You can ignore the catalogue numbers and still compare $65 against $69. That is the pattern our provider checklist is built around: decide on terms you can hold a seller to.
How to buy anything in this market with the gaps closed
This applies to Flixaria, to us, and to every provider in the category. Before paying, get four things pinned down — ideally in writing from support if they are not on the page.
- The price of the term you want, for the exact number of simultaneous connections you need
- The renewal price for that same plan, stated separately from the introductory price
- Whether the connection limit counts devices installed or streams running at once — it is almost always the latter
- Which payment methods are accepted, and whether the one you plan to use can be reversed
Where this leaves a short-term buyer
For a single month the two are level at $14. For three months Flixaria at $29 is the better printed deal against our $36. For a year on one device, $65 against $69 is also Flixaria.
We would still recommend Smartiflix if you want a fourth simultaneous connection, or if you want every combination of term and connection count on one page you can archive. That is a narrower claim than it sounds — not that our streams perform better, which neither of us can demonstrate to you in advance, but that the fourth tier and the named-domain list are printed where you can hold us to them.
If one screen and a prepaid year is all you need, Flixaria's printed $65 is the cheaper ticket and we would not argue with you for taking it. Our grid is here, starting at $14 for a month.
Questions people actually ask
How much does Flixaria cost per year?+
On 14 September 2026 the one-device year on flixaria.com was $65. Two devices were $99 and three were $138. Those figures were missing in August; they are printed now.
Is Flixaria cheaper than Smartiflix?+
On several printed terms, yes. One month on one device is $14 at both. Three months is $29 against $36. Six months is $40 against $47. A year is $65 against $69. A two-device month is $24 against $26. Smartiflix is cheaper once you need a fourth simultaneous connection, which Flixaria does not print.
Why does an unpublished renewal price matter?+
Because the introductory rate and the renewal rate are different products, and only one of them is advertised. A first month at $14 tells you nothing about month thirteen. When a provider publishes every term openly, the renewal is visible before you commit; when it does not, you are agreeing to a price that has not been quoted.
How do I find out a provider's long-term price?+
Ask support directly and in writing, before paying, and keep the answer. A one-line question — what does a twelve-month plan cost for two connections, and what will it cost to renew — is also a useful test of responsiveness. A seller who will not put a renewal price in writing has told you something worth knowing.
Does Flixaria offer more than two devices?+
Yes. The page we re-read prices one, two and three devices across all four terms. It does not print a fourth connection. If you need four streams at once, that is a Smartiflix tier Flixaria has not published.
